It's a beautiful day as we hear the rumble of the generators and pneumatic motors running again.

Minor activities have resumed last week with workers seen doing formwork and rebar for the foundations.

Its a far cry from the situation before the Circuit Breakers.. But noone is complaining. We rather the economy and the world to resume in a crawling mode in the new normal than on a standstill.

Phase 2? Not quite so

Construction sectors have yet to resume unlike the rest of the sectors.

The CCK BTO Keat Hong Verge is still at a standstill.

Mean while across the road, the Quick built dormitory are almost ¾ completed.

Let's welcome our foreign workers with open arms to our estate. After all, they did help us build our housing and buildings and played and important part of our nation building.

Quick Build Dormitory

It was in the main stream media news last week that the CCK quick build dormitory could house up to 3000 workers.

Looking at the speed of construction, it will likely be ready before end of June.

Contrast that to the Choa Chu Kang BTO site across the street which had not resume work since the Circuit Breaker ended on 2nd June.
